I went to see Dr. Givindan, my oncologist at the Siteman Center.
Dr. Govindan is not only one of the most repected oncologists
in the country, he also spends half his time on cancer research.
I recommend him not only for his clinical skills, but also
because he's one of the most caring and compassionate doctors
I have ever met.
He informed me that there's no new growth of my lung tumor,
and because there was some slight lung inflammation, he was
stopping the chemotherapy. I go back in a month for a CT scan,
and then we'll decide if we proceed with round 5 of my chemo.
I think I'll really like the break. I'll keep you posted,
in the meantime here's a few more pictures.
