December 15th 2004 Here it is, almost Christmas 2004, and I'm doing pretty good. I had a few dizzy spells over the past few weeks, and so I went in for some tests -an EEG and another MRI. The results were mixed. The good news is that the 3 original brain tumors were gone, the bad news is that 3 new tumors were detected. David and I meet on 12/17 with Dr. Dacey and Dr. Simpson, my original Gamma Knife team. We'll know then if these new tumors are treatable with another Gamma Knife procedure, and what my options are. Until then, there's lots of Christmas shopping to do. And I'll be able to enjoy Christmas without any Chemotherapy, I'm really happy about that!
